  12. I wish to know if there exists a hardware device that would improve
  13. modem reception. I live in the mountains in Costa Rica and have not
  14. been able to comunicate with my modem with the WWW. Due to noise on
  15. the line.
  16. For normal telephone comunication the line works fine it does sustain
  17. normal fax and long distance direct dialing.

  19. Is there anything I can do? besides contacting the phone company?
